Sustainable Architectures Summit London 2025
Our Reflection on an Incredible Day
We wish to thank everyone who attended our “Evolving Technology Architectures for Responsible and Sustainable AI” event yesterday hosted by SustainableArchitectures.org, SustainableIT.org and IASA Global.
We were beyond impressed with the level of participation in our working group break-out sessions focused on refining our action plans and existing principles tied to:
- Strategy and Governance
- Solution Architecture
- Data and Responsible AI
- Infrastructure
- Metrics and GreenOps
- Security, Risk and Compliance
It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm, collaboration, and thoughtful contributions from each of you as we work together to shape global standards for Responsible AI and sustainable IT practices.
It was incredibly energizing to be in a room full of people united by the same mission. We at SustainableArchitectures.org are deeply passionate about evolving our architecture practice to embed sustainability and responsible AI principles—ensuring our designs not only deliver business value, but also help CIOs meet their critical sustainability goals.
“For me personally, ultimately the people that attended our summit and their peers become a catalyst for sustainable innovation, ensuring that AI solutions are not only intelligent but also ethically and environmentally responsible by design.”– Lisa Pratico, Chair & Co-Founder SustainableArchitectures.org
Appreciation to our speakers and panelists
We’d also like to thank our amazing speakers who have shown us that organizations aren’t just speaking about sustainability but implementing solutions to ensure sustainable outcomes. Gadhu Sundaram and Dr. Katia Chaban from NTTData, Chitra Sundaram from Cleartelligence, Wendy Marshall from Rackspace, Bharghava Vamsi Bhogireddy from LegalandGeneral, and Daisy Schuchmann from ValueBlue.
I think we all enjoyed the lively panel discussions focused around “Architecture Decision Frameworks for Responsible AI”, moderated by Katharine Clarke, with panelists: Simon Bennett from Rackspace, Claire Robinson from Transform and Howard Holton from GIGAOM. We thank you for sharing your experiences and perspectives.
